Ever more political decisions are being made in Brussels. The EU is particularly important when it comes to transport policy because traffic flows right across Europe, making common EU regulation essential. The Pro-Rail Alliance is calling for priority to be given to the railways ahead of the roads, and for cross-border routes instead of insular solutions. To make its voice heard in Brussels, the rail alliance networks with other European organisations, for example on the No Mega Trucks campaign and in EU projects.
